« The Healthy Librarian's Latest Lab Test Confessions: Cholesterol, Vitamin D & Vitamin B-12 | Main | Two Cardiologists & One Cardiac Surgeon Who Follow an Esselstyn-Style Plant-Based Diet. What's Their Story and What Health Benefits Have They Seen? »

June 30, 2012

I can't wait to read about your upcoming posts...all appear interesting and good reads. You actually got me thinking this morning about going to my public library to pick up some books to read. It has been awhile since I sat down with a good book(s). Thanks for the reminder of the feeling of reading a good book!

My top picks for posting would be the gut bacteria, the two cardiologists & surgeon, and bone health.

I can't choose! I can't wait to hear about all of the topics you listed. I love receiving your updates. So inspiring and really help to motivate me to stay on track. Cheers, Jen

I would love to hear about the "two cardiologists and one cardiovascular surgeon who decided to follow Esselstyn's plant-based no-oil diet. What's their story, why did they decide to take this route for themselves, and how has it benefited their health."

Thanks for everything you post!!

Betty Amer

My top four picks would be the four you listed above: Strong Bones diet, 2 cardiologists, gut bacteria, Dr. Golubic's presentation; along with whatever plant-based no-oil recipes you can throw in. Many other topics interest also--such a long list. I don't know how you manage but I look forward to what you are able to post this summer.

I'd love to learn more about guts and bones!

By the way, for ginger I just freeze the entire piece and grate what I need. Or if I need to mince it, I thaw and chop. I don't bother to peel it and it seems to work very well.

I'm 61, so your future post on "A recent large study on the synergistic effects of vegetables, fruit, & exercise on cutting mortality in older women" is high priority!

Also interested in "A summary of the People's Pharmacy interview with Harriet Lerner, a wise grounded long-married clinical psychologist. Wise common-sense advice."

Hi Debby--as always great post. I would love to read all of the items on your list--but these hit me first:
My 2-year eating plant-based no-added-oil update & the Great Clothes Closet Purge
My B-12 test results update. What one B-12 expert told me.
More on plant-based athletes--how the diet improves performance, promotes weight loss, & better health.
Success stories from HHLL readers!
More awesome plant-based-no-oil recipes

I vote for the cardiologist's story and the info on healthy gut bacteria!

I would love to hear your recipe for cheesy kale chips and about the strong bone diet as well! Your posts are great...I think this is the first time I have commented, so thank you for all that you do!

Simple, vegan, no added fat recipes, not the ones that include 20 ingredients, please!

You know!

Best regards, Mark

I'm just catching up with your posts, but if you want to read a great book that has time travel, a romance, and is an interesting and thought-provoking great story, read 11/22/63 by Stephen King. 750 pages and I read it in 3 days. It's fantastic.
