The Intouchables was a brilliant film! I haven't seen anyone else talk about it... I only stumbled upon it after clearing out my DVR during a bout of bronchitis. Best decision I made!

This is a great post and I can't wait to try your recipe! I am equally obsessed with soup and every variety of lentil I can get my hands on.

Best to you!

Kristen

I loved the Intouchables as well. So heartwarming. And beautiful music, too. I'm looking forward to trying the soup!

This soup sounds lovely, but I'm wondering about the 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika - I love the stuff but that sounds like quite a bit! Just thought I would double-check before committing to that quantity in the soup ...

Hi Carol,

It's not a mistake. It's 2 whole tablespoons. But, it was wise of you to check this out first. This does make a lot of soup, so it's not as crazy as it sounds. But, if you're spice-shy, just add one tablespoon & see what you think before adding the 2nd tablespoon.

Best regards,

Debby

This is my new favorite soup! I lightened it up as you suggested. Another great lentil soup from Appetite for Reduction is Lots of Veggies Lentil Soup. In that one I add the zucchini towards the end because I don't like mushy zucchini. Thanks for the film recommendation. Going to watch it tonight.
